Community Assistant – Turtle Island Institute
Turtle Island Institute, a project on the MakeWay shared platform, is seeking a Community Assistant. The Community Assistant plays a variety of roles within Turtle Island Institute by tending key operational and administrative processes that support relationships and ensuring a strong sense of community for the team, its partners, and the communities we all strive to support. The Community Assistant helps to ensure the Institute’s success by carrying out day-to-day management of a range of supports for the Turtle Island Institute team, bringing a caring, respectful attitude of service to tasks such as scheduling gatherings, calendar support, communications and correspondence and general administration. With learning as a core value, the Community Assistant will commit to their own reflection and learning for personal growth, cultural competency and professional development related to their work with the Turtle Island Institute team.
