The Black Environmental Initiative’s purpose is to create more opportunities for Black communities and individuals to participate in environmental action. Our objective is to increase access to green jobs, green entrepreneurship opportunities and environmental protection engagement in Black communities.

We also work to ensure that Black communities have decent access to environmental benefits and we promote environmental protection and equity for all. We fight against racism and we promote better relations between all races, mostly through shared environmental values.
