The Western Arctic Youth Collective (WAYC) was created by Inuvialuit and Gwich’in youth, based out of Inuvik but offering programming in surrounding communities. Their main goal is to offer empowerment to youth to be changemakers in the North. They aim to provide a platform that is led by youth collaborative initiatives and partnerships in their communities and to partner with other groups who share ideas in the North.
