EcoAnalytics

EcoAnalytics is a Canadian market research initiative of influential non-profit environmental groups, which aims to better understand public opinion in support of Canada’s environmental movement. Launched in 2016 with top university researchers, EcoAnalytics has shared no fewer than 20 detailed analytical briefings and reports, along with webinars, drawing on nine major national surveys, as well as focus groups and other polling. Its research focuses on topics of high and enduring relevance to environmental change-makers: e.g. strategic framing of biodiversity loss and climate change and actions to address these existential threats.

In 2018, EcoAnalytics was awarded a highly-ranked Partnership Development grant by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for research on the demographic segmentation, values and behaviour of supporters of the environmental movement. The initiative is also committed to the translation of its research into more powerful communications and engagement by its pan-Canadian membership.
