Rainforest Solutions Implementation Project (RSIP) advances conservation in British Columbia by supporting implementation of the Great Bear Rainforest Agreement Implementation Framework through monitoring compliance with cultural and ecological guidelines, collaborative problem solving to continuously improve ecosystem-based management with government-to-government decision makers, and supporting skills transfer to First Nations and other coastal communities as appropriate. In addition, RSIP will share the model and learnings with participants in other resource conflict geographies to seed and accelerate systemic transformations required to maintain ecosystems and enfranchise indigenous and community voices elsewhere.
