Turtle Island Institute (TII) is an Indigenous social innovation collaborative—a think and do tank—enabling transformative change. TII braids together Indigenous wisdom and systems thinking to help leaders and changemakers unlock their creative capacities for holistic problem solving. We believe that reawakening the spirit of our ancestral ways of knowing, speaking, doing and being is the pathway to help changemakers realize large scale transformational systems change.

Our work focuses on training and coaching social innovators to tackle systemic and colonial barriers. TII applies a culturally- and spiritually- grounded approach to the creative processes of social innovation labs, bootcamps, pop up labs, online supports, residencies, and land-based learning to uncover actionable and scalable interventions that advance the wellbeing of all our relations.
