As the decision-making body at the highest level of organizational leadership, our Board plays a critical role in shaping our strategic vision and mission. Our sitting members are a passionate and dynamic group of individuals, with a variety of skills and expertise. From conservation scientist Aerin Jacob to Indigenous technology leader Denise Williams, candidates will be joining an outstanding group who are passionate about helping MakeWay achieve its mission of nature and communities thriving together.
The MakeWay Board of Directors has always valued a diversity of opinions and lived experience, a wide variety of professional skills and ways of knowing, and representation from across Canada. Currently we are seeking individuals that also could bring expertise in government relations, communications, and philanthropy.
