Ontario
Sustainable solutions for communities big and small
Making lasting social, economic, and environmental change in the country’s most populated province.

Advancing new ideas and accelerating impact

When it comes to access to food, services, and economic livelihoods in the country’s mostpopulated province, there are wide discrepancies between communities. MakeWay works with a communities across Ontario to drive lasting positive social, economic, and environmental change. We work with local leaders to test new ideas and bring their visions to life; with Indigenous communities dedicated to environmental stewardship, food sovereignty, and just food systems; and with funders who create networks that help amplify and accelerate our collective impact.

For over two decades, MakeWay has supported changemakers in Ontario. We do this by hosting local projects on our shared platform and supporting community initiatives through grantmaking.
